Director of Finance

The Heartland Partnership is a dynamic, high-profile not-for-profit organization which provides strategic leadership, coordinates resources, and brings to life initiatives focused on developing, growing, and nurturing the Central Illinois Region.

Position Summary: Supervise, monitor and assist with bookkeeping, accounting, and financial functions for multiple entities. Prepare and review financial reports for all affiliated companies. Additional responsibilities: cash management, limited general office management, assistance with some aspects of HR reporting. This position works closely with and reports to the VP/COO.

Required Education: BS in Finance or Accounting or related field. CPA preferred.

Required Experience: Five years in management of accounting activity. Proficiency in using Excel and accounting software. Ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
