One of the most visible and fastest growing sectors of our economy in Central Illinois is the Healthcare Industry. Representing over 15% of the workforce in the Tri-County area, Healthcare is one of the top industries along with Manufacturing and Transportation.

There are over $700 Million in capital projects recently completed, currently underway or planned to begin in the near future.  Healthcare is a booming industry for our region.  The baby boomer generation is reaching an age where they are going to need more healthcare services.  The aging population means there is a need for more healthcare workers.
