The City of West Peoria was incorporated in 1993 and is bounded on the north, east and west by the City of Peoria and is immediately adjacent to Bradley University. The Kickapoo River valley is along the city’s western boundary. West Peoria is a small city covering only 1.25 square miles. There are three shopping areas – Western Avenue, Farmington Road, and Downtown at Rohmann at Sterling Avenues.
